Senior Projects Manager - RFP Coordination


  • Acts as point person to oversee responses to Large Business Opportunities identified by the Large Account Sales team.
  • Partners with Large Account Sales team to develop Large Customer Sales Programs and plan implementation strategies.
  • Responsible for managing responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) - under strict deadlines and often with very little lead-time
  • Creating or coordinating the inclusion of Requests For Information (RFI's), pricing proposals, and ad hoc documents.
  • Ensures that the documents are accurate, fully completed and with appropriate cross-functional input.
  • Interacts cross functionally by facilitating communication and documentation required for Proposal Responses.
  • Analyzes large Customer RFP requirements and recommends effective responses.
  • Works cross functionally to draft proposals and implementation plans.
  • Addresses specific needs/requirements, ensuring quality and consistency in responses and will identify potential issues within the RFP terms and conditions.
  • Maintain files and log for completed projects and pending questionnaires, RFPs and other external databases.
  • Works closely with team colleagues and Sales management to recommend and adopt efficiency improvements to RFP process and oversees their implementation
  • Interacts with Subject Matter Experts to obtain specialized data or content.
  • Form relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Establish consistent proposal standards across the organization.
  • Facilitate best practice sharing regarding proposal management.
  • Performs all duties inherent in the role of Manager including hiring, termination, review and development of associates.
  • Fosters the Corporate Culture in the department and throughout the organization to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of mission.
  • Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing or the equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five years professional experience in Sales or Sales Support
  • Minimum of two years experience supervising associates
  • Proven analytical experience required
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets
  • Excellent analytical and data manipulation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
