Senior Manager of Contract Administration


  • Ensures contract review, approval and execution is in accordance with corporate policy and/or business unit guidelines.
  • Directs the identification, development and implementation of sales contract format, negotiation and administration policies and processes in accordance with customer expectations and corporate objectives.
  • Champions sales contract policy and procedure, revision and improvement with the goal of growing sales while ensuring manageable risk to the company.
  • Establishes and implements sales contract policies and processes to ensure achievement of corporate expectations.
  • Performs in a cross-functional role with other departments, i.e. Finance, HR, EHS, Law, and Operations.
  • Provides guidance and leadership to cross-functional business team members.
  • Works closely with external counsel and/or in-house legal counsel to ensure adherence to and consistency with corporate policy.
  • Understands the business case and has an appreciation of financial/analytical issues and profit and loss implications.
  • Analyzes new laws, regulations and contract trends for potential impact on business unit goals and objectives.
  • Provides authoritative guidance to internal business teams on corporate goals and objectives relating to contract activity.
  • Provides formal training in sales contract expertise.
  • Assists in new business pursuit and associated contract strategy.
  • Performs all duties inherent in the role of a Corporate Manager including hiring, termination and review and development of associates.
  • Fosters the Corporate Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of vision and fulfillment of mission.
  • Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required. 


  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent experience Juris Doctorate preferred.
  • Eight plus years business and advanced contract and technical knowledge required, including contract management, construction and analysis required.
  • 5 years management experience is preferred.
  • Excellent presentation, teambuilding and leadership skills required.
  • Ability to perform in a complex cross-functional business environment
  • Ability to establish and implement departmental goals and objectives required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent internal and external negotiation skills required.
  • Strong to excellent analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of corporate policies and procedures, federal and state laws and regulations coupled with ability to identify required improvement to established policies
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel are required
