Senior Manager Business Development - (China)

Brief Summary: 

  • Responsible for the identification, and capture of new technical development trends for the Chinese Air Traffic Management market. 
  • Interface with potential customers to discuss requirements, schedules and capabilities.
  • Interface with industry personnel to develop teaming and or partnering relationships to support business needs.
  • Primary focus will be on the development of new business in support of the corporations’ strategic objectives. 
  • Establishes marketing goals to ensure share of market and profitability of products and/or services. 
  • Identifies new business opportunities and presents to management for pursue/bid decisions. 
  • Develops and executes marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure profit growth and expansion of company products and/or services. 
  • Formulates capture strategies and provides leadership to capture teams.
  • Researches, analyzes and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors so that market opportunities may be capitalized on and the effects of competitive activity may be minimized. 
  • Develops and recommends pricing strategies for assigned programs and products to gain the greatest share of the market over the long run. 
  • Provides projected orders inputs for assigned programs and products for inclusion in the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Operating Plan. 
  • Attains annual booking objectives for assigned programs/products
  • Function as a key technical lead for pre-sales in developing Chinese market
  • Excellent communication skills both in English and Chinese with demonstrated writing ability and the ability to prepare and effectively deliver presentations

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or Computer Sciences
  • Minimum of 10 years directly related industry experience. 
  • Must have Air Traffic Management or Surviellance Product experience. 
  • Experience with CAAC and ATMB acquisition process, a plus. 
  • Must have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prepare and effectively deliver presentations. 
  • Must be PC literate and proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
