Marketing Assistant

Located about 35 miles east of NYC we are a manufacturer of various types of OTC Care, Personal Care & Home Care Products and associated chemicals.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary point of contact for internal customers initiating sample requests
  • Assists with daily operation of the marketing group, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
  • Hands-on involvement in a variety of marketing logistics
  • Assists with the production of marketing materials and literature
  • Coordinates the production of a wide range of marketing communications
  • Provides support for marketing events and exhibitions as required
  • Assists with the collation of information for promotional literature
  • Updates and maintains the marketing department's documentation and databases
  • Organizes events, booking venues and ordering marketing materials, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related discipline
  • Effective project management skills
  • Sound understanding of marketing principles
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
