Project Manager - Lighting Installations

Duties

  • The project manager will be responsible for ensuring that manufactured components are available to meet scheduled installation dates
  • Ensure that installation crews are available for the timely installation of lighting fixtures
  • Monitor the progress of his/her assigned projects and adjust crew size as necessary to keep all projects on schedule and within budget
  • Work with manufacturing to define the priorities of products needed to keep your projects on schedule
  • Work closely with sales to keep them informed of progress or problems
  • Manage and keep track of the performance of installers as well as recruit new installers as required.
  • Remain professional and courteous as a representative of the company on-site

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years project management experience with installations in commercial and/or industrial properties in the area of HVAC, Lighting or similar type projects
  • Knowledge and experience with CAD software
  • The ability to manage several projects at one time and balance manpower resources
  • Minimum 2 year associates degree, 4 year BS desirable in a technical, engineering, interior design or architectural discipline
  • Experience with electrical wiring and lighting fixture installations would be a plus as would an electricians license
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enjoy accomplishing a project on time within budget and to the customers satisfaction
