Director of Business Development for Industrial/Critical Infrastructure Security Markets

Brief Summary:

  • Plans, directs and coordinates the marketing of assigned products and/or services within the Industrial/Critical Infrastructure Security Market
  • Performs the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. 
    • Establishes marketing goals to ensure share of market and profitability of products and/or services. 
    • Identifies new Industrial/Critical Infrastructure Security market business opportunities and presents to management for pursue/bid decisions. 
    • Develops and executes marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure profit growth and expansion of company products and/or services for the Industrial/Critical Infrastructure Security market. 
    • Formulates capture strategies and provides leadership to capture teams
    • Researches, analyzes and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors so that market opportunities may be capitalized on and the effects of competitive activity may be minimized. 
    • Develops and recommends pricing strategies for assigned programs and products which will result in the greatest share of the market over the long run. 
    • Provides projected orders inputs for assigned programs and products for inclusion in the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Operating Plan. 
    • Attains annual booking objectives for assigned programs/products

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.E.E., B.A. – Marketing with technical background)
  • Minimum of 15 years directly related industry experience
  • 8 years managerial experience. 
  • Previous operational experience a must. 
  • Background in Department of Defense/Department of Homeland Security marketing
  • Previous experience in the Industrial /Critical Infrastructure Market is required.
  • Must have excellent communications and organizational skills, with the ability to prepare and effectively deliver presentations
  • Must have a background that would permit the issuance of a Security clearance, which includes US citizenship
