Associate Project Manager, Poduct Information

Duties

  • Super-user of data management tools and utilities (i.e. Product Information Management, Cross-Referencing, etc) to include documentation, trouble-shooting, training and support.
  • Manages small-to-medium projects, including timelines and results.
  • Works cross-functionally with IS, Product, Sales, Suppliers, etc. to support proper establishment of data business rules, processes, and data manipulation efforts.
  • Assists with the analysis and development of system enhancements, process improvements and efficiencies by identifying user requirements to support data improvement opportunities
  • Develops project and departmental metrics, reports and analytics used to measure and monitor performance standards.
  • Monitors performance against goal, analyzes results, and initiates appropriate action.
  • Monitors data collection and data quality assurance processes for assigned projects.
  • Supports validation efforts to ensure data is consistent and accurate across databases and data entry efforts.
  • Supports establishment of, and trains guidelines and procedures for long-term core execution maintenance.
  • Downloads, uploads and/or queries large databases from the AS400. Writes, maintains, and presents data utilizing Excel, FoxPro and Access to support decision making.
  • Ensures unity of purpose and fulfillment of corporate mission. Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or the equivalent
  • Minimum of three years related experience
  • Database System analytical skills utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word and Access type tools.
  • Excellent project management, process improvement and problem resolution skills
  • Experience in managing multiple simultaneous projects
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Excellent time management skills
